Planetary Days & Hours
Planetary hours and days is a term used for which planet rules each day and each hour of that day. Planetary hours are a little harder to calculate, since originally we did not view time and days the same way as we do now. There are many online planetary hour calculators, or if you have an iphone you can download the app Time Nomad which will give you notifications for the shift of the planetary hour, it also will allow you to install widgets to your home screen for both the planetary day and hour.

Mercury rules our intellect, communication, speaking, reactions. These time periods are good for studying, thinking, meditating, or anything that stimulates your mind. Teaching, taking exams, and scheduling classes around this time will be beneficial for you or provide you with your most productive days. Good time to start a short trip, to write a letter or report, to program, to chat, to send mail, initiate debates, compete in contests, act on your sexual urges/instincts, tap into your feral instincts.
Thursday | Jupiter:
Jupiter is the planet of luck, expansion, success. It also rules greed, over indulgennce and crossing boundaries. It is a positive time for generally most affairs, these are the days to ask questions, make requests/proposals, marketing yourself. People are more preceptive, understanding and in a good mood during this time, so requesting something of them has better luck. These are good days/hours for extending out of your reach, such as applying for jobs that you're unqualified for, testing your luck, taking risks, talking to people out of your league romantically or business. Friday | Venus:
Venus rules money, love, possessions, material goods. Friday's are good for dating, taking someone out, going to the movies, entertainment, planning a party, buying/wearing jewelry. Relationships flow smoother during these days/hours, if you're planning on breaking up with someone, Friday's are the best days as there is less likely to be dramatics. That being said, it is also a good time to mend a broken relationship.
Saturday | Saturn:
Saturn rules strucure. stability, wisdom, responsibility, and learning lessons the hard way. On the positive, this is good energy for seeking advice, especially if the other person in older than you. These energies are good for planning your future, and sitting with your thoughts to address a problem. On the negative, now isn't a good time to borrow money, make a promise, or any commitments - this is because Saturn is slow and can cause delays. If you sign a contract to start building a house during Saturn day or Saturn hour - you can expect many road blocks and issues that will need to be fixed. Saturn rewards hard work, so his main rulership is to make something as complicated as possible in order for you to truly appreciate it once it's finished or passed. This is ironically the day most people experience hangovers.
